Welcome to the Tower Homestead Guest Ranch
My parents, Herb and Lilly Tower, discovered Twentynine Palms in the 1930's, during the height of the Depression and found that 160 acre homesteads were available. The land was acquired, a 100 year old home in Pasadena was dismantled for the lumber and a new home was created in Twentynine Palms by 1932. Local flagstones, gathered in the foothills, were used to create the patio and cactus garden.
Of particular interest is a collection of mining equipment and indian artifacts from the earliest inhabitants of the area. Each bedroom has it's own living room with fireplace, beamed ceiling, wood paneled and furnished with functional antiquities.
Year round comfort is assured by central air conditioning and heat. There is an inground, salt water pool and a spa.
Our desire is to offer a relaxing escape from the City. You may set your own pace from lounging to exploring the many scenic delights that the area has to offer. |
